We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Rome! While the rooms and beds were on the smaller side, they were impeccably clean, which is always a top priority for me. The location near the Vatican was perfect for a quieter experience, away from the bustling city center.
What truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They happily provided us with extra pillows, stored our luggage on our check-out day, and even arranged a taxi for us. Their willingness to assist with a smile made our stay even more enjoyable.
In summary, this hotel may offer basic rooms, but its cleanliness, excellent customer service, and peaceful location near the Vatican make it a standout choice for a pleasant stay in Rome.

The extended review...
Cleanliness: 4/5 - Very clean and tidy.
Service: 4/5 - Friendly staff but be aware that the front desk is closed at night.
Comfort: 4/5 - I was very comfortable here and didn’t have trouble sleeping at all. The room is a little small but it was good enough for me.
Noise: 5/5 - Not a lot of noise at all.
Location: 4/5 - In a very walkable location.
Well located for a Vatican tour and the nearby metro. It's a two-star but functional enough. Heat was a bit erratic, beds were small, and facilities were battered and worn to the point where I feared for their cleanliness; but in the end I spent two nights, everything functioned, and the staff was basically helpful.
The worst experience of my life. Save your money and don’t book a room.
We arrive at the g in the morning I ask him if the air conditioner is working and he told me that it is working. When we arrived he ask us to pay and we didn’t see the room to see if it’s okay. The room was not ready and we took a walk. We came back after 3 or 4 hours and he gave us the key for our room. It’s was very hot outside 35 degrees and in the room was small and very very hot I mean it’s was like 40 degrees inside. So we try to open the air conditioner and guess what the air conditioner is not working. We ask him first to change our room and he told us that he is full. Then we ask him our money back and he didn’t say anything first. Then he left us in the room and he didn’t came back. I went to the reception and ask him again to give us our money back and told me that he call someone to fix it. Of course I didn’t want some to fix it I just wanted my money back and I had to found other hotel. And I did he gave me my money back. I hope to help other people.
Nice hotel in a good location, the staff is very friendly, the bathroom kind of new despite of being a old hotel, it is in a good shape.
Cons:
1) Matress so hard, it's like sleeping on the floor.
2) Claustrophobic shower with elbows touching walls
3)You have to ask for AC remote at the front desk
4) Dinosaur hair dryer, which shuts off every 5 min.
5) No iron in the room, and even if you have your own, there is a note: not to use it in the room
6) Since it's an old apartment building , you can hear all your neighbors.
7) Furniture is worn out
8) We asked about breakfast prior to check in and got a reply "The Breakfast is provided at a cost of 6/9 EUR, and is served from 7,30 to 10.00. Reservation is not necessary. However in the morning they refused us breakfast as we
were suppsed to reserve it 24h prior to arrival.
9) We stored our luggage after check out, and when we came back, found they broke the bottle of our wine we had in our backpack (it reeked of wine, was wet and had a tiny
pieces of glass on top). Since there was no apology or even acknowledgment of what happened, we can only guess if smb was attempting to go thru our stuff and got interrupted or if it was just an accident.
10) $170 for mid week stay in mid May seems overpriced for what it has to offer.
Pros:
1)Walking distance to Vatican (and metro).
2) It's clean.
3) Working ac.
4) Allowed late check in.
5) Management replies quick on Booking
Very clean, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They helped us navigate the city and told us which places were worth seeing and which were not. The biggest help for us is they didn't forget about us once we checked out which is typical of most hotels. We needed a place to keep our luggage after we checked out since we were not departing until later that evening. They kept our luggage safe and secure until we returned and even set up a taxi service for us to get to the train station on time.
On our next trip back to Rome I will definitely be coming back here!
5 stars!
Very clean and nice staff but no fridge in the room and weird face towels
